Doubts?

And finally, I address the one question that I'm sure must still be hovering in the back of your mind . . . .

By this point, I'm sure you must be asking yourself:

"Isn't this really all just a cheap ploy to get my attention?"

Well . . . sure, it is.

But consider:

The WEBsmith pages get hit hundreds of times per day. We have thousands of readers--and millions more potential readers. Every one of them is a potential customer for us; someone who might subscribe to the print version of WEBsmith, and who might be interested in the other products SSC has to offer. But more importantly, they're all people who could use the help we have to offer. We have a chance of making the Web a better place, by starting where it counts--with the people who design and provide the web's content.

But first, we have to get their attention. With all the distracting sights and sounds of the so-called Information Superhighway to contend with, as the users speed by us at thousands of bits per second, we have to do whatever we can to flag them down first.

If I got you to look at my page at all, you know I can get your attention. And if you've read all the way through these pages . . . you know I can hold it.

Thanks for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Michael J. Montoure
